Lillie's parents were Frank Ezra and Emma Magdaline Randall Allyn.

She married Thomas Owen SoRelle on September 1,1906 in Sweetwater,Texas.

They had 1 son Frank Owen SoRelle.

LILLIE was a typical ranchers wife. She cooked for the hired hands and during roundup time she would cook a full meal plus desert by her self and take it to the North pens to feed the ranchers and others that came to help rope, mark, cut and brand the calves.

My fondest memory is Georgie Cade, Jewel Puryear, Rose Dixon, Bessie Shipp, Maggie Bandy Jones, Sara Martinez, Catherine and other ladies of the Martinez family, Miss. Fannie Mae Lockett, Ruby Cave and so many others over the years coming to help serve and keep the coffee going and then helping to clean up. They would finish and then set under the mesquite trees and talk.

The normal meal for that time was pot roast and gravy , mashed potatoes, corn on the cob and a big pot of pinto beans, onions, and of course cornbread.

We got to the North pen's and Mama and Georgie Cade were rushing around setting up the food for the men . Mama needed the dish rag and they couldnt find it. She was over stirring the pinto bean's when we heard her say ''Oh no". we went over to see what was wrong and she had found the dish rag in the bean's. She and Georgie talked it over and they took the dishrag out and hid it. They told me not to say a word about what happened. Needless to say I didnt eat any of the bean's that time. The men ate and several of them commented on how good the bean's and cornbread tasted.

It was a time that can never be repeated except in your mind. I thank GOD that I was able to see it and to be part of it.
GOD BLESS them all.

Lillies sisters were May Francis , Prudence Elizabeth and Lula Emily. 2 brothers Charles Wesley and Frank Ezra Allyn Jr.
Lillie had a twin sister, ROSA MAE , that died at birth. She is buried at Pocatello,Idaho in an unmarked grave.
