L.D. Bradshaw, 91, of Lebanon, died Sunday evening, June 27, 2006, at St. Johns Hospital-Lebanon.

He was born October 5, 1912, near Eldridge, Mo to Edward and Clora Hufft Bradshaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Opal, O'Dell, and Jame Edward Bradshaw; four sisters, Velma Pruitt, Freda Brakebill, Pauline Esther, and Fern Swadley.

For several years he worked for the Union Oil Company in California. After retiring to Laclede County, he farmed for many years.

He is survived by his wife, Winnie, of the home; a son, Lee Dan Bradshaw and his wife, Joan, of Lebanon; two step-grandchildren, Sandra Meckem of Rolla and Kimberly Hargis of Aurora, Illinois; a step-great-grandchild, Devin Meckam; and a step-great-great-grandchild, Brittany Meckem.

Services for L.D. Bradshaw were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 30,2004, in the Holman-Howe Chapel with the Rev. Bob Knapp officiating.

Burial was in the Hufft Cemetery near Eldridgem under the direction of Holman-Howe Funeral Home of Lebanon.

A memorial was established to the Hufft Cemetery Perpetual Care Fund.
