Glenn E. Abbott, 85, of New England, WV died Tuesday September 18, 2007 at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital. He was born in New England a son of the late Milliard and Pearl Wildman Abbott. He was a member of New England Baptist Church.

He is survived by his nephew Doug Abbott (Sharon) of New England, WV; great niece Andrea Abbott of Charleston, SC; niece Dolores Gessel (Roger) of New England; great nephew Kevin Gessel (Denise) of New England; great great nephews Michael and Alan Gessel both of New England; great nephew Robert Gessel (Debbie) of New England; and great great nephew Hunter Gessel.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother and sister-in-law Robert and Helen Abbott.

Services will be Thursday 3:00 PM at his home in New England with Reverend Roger Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at New England Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday 6-8 PM and Thursday 1-2 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg.
