Cecile was born in Leominster, Massachusetts, the youngest of ten children born to Canadian parents Edward Bergeron and Sarah (Girardin) Bergeron. Cecile married Leo L. Marin in Leominster Aug 31, 1933 at St. Cecelia's Church. Cecile and Leo made their home in Whitinsville, Massachusetts and were the parents of six sons, Leo L., Jr., Alfred F., Ernest R., Paul R., Donald R. and David H. Marin. Cecile had been employed at the Kartiganer Hat Co. of West Upton and the Whitinsville Spinning Ring Co. She died at age 60 after a long illness.
