Services for Pvt. Ray F. Arnett were held Saturday at 2pm in the S. A. Dunkel and Sons Funeral Home, with burial in Mote Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Deever, Rev. Paul Jeffery and the Brookville-Trotwood American Legion officiated.
He was a graduate of Verona High School and served with the 350th Infantry, Regiment of the 88th Division.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Margaret Maude Arnett; a daughter, Cherry Lea, both of Fort McKinley; mother, Mrs. Nora Arnett of Verona; a brother, Richard of Arcanum; a sister, Mrs. Betty Studebaker of Lewisburg; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Arnett of Laura, Ohio.
