Born September 4, 1931 in Concord she was the daughter of Juanita T. Boger and the late Fred J. Boger. She was educated at Logan High School and was employed with Cannon Mills, plant #6 and Wiscassett Mills for at least 30 years. She was a member of Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church and worked as a missionary.

Survivors include her husband, Lee Allison Jr. (Bill) of the home; a son, Lee Roger Allison of Statesville; four daughters, Anita Gil Boger and Debra Frazier (Excell) and Suzette Allison of Concord and Jean Applewhite (Isaac) of Charlotte; a brother, Robert Earl Boger; a sister, Betty Murchison (Paul) of Concord; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
