Was at a marriage of his sister,(Unity) with Lydia Harrison on 13th day 12 month of 1824 Short Creek Quaker records in Jefferson Co. Ohio. Purchased land from the children of deceased Samuel James, the first husband of his wife Lydia. In 1842 he and wife Lydia,sold the same land to a Aaron Thompson.In 1850 was living in Wheeling TWP,Belmont Co. Ohio next to his son Zebulon In 1860 he is next door to his son Samuel in Union Co. Ohio 1860 census. Second wife infro comes from two of his granddaughters that lived in Kansas in 1935. Has a headstone in Claney Cem. near Marion Kansas.In the 1870 census Mount Victory,Hardin, Ohio was a William H. 72 years old, wife Margaret 25 yrs,Sons William H.2 and Elmer E.11 months. From the Marion Co. Record. Obit for William H Harrison Friday May 4 1877 Mr. Wm Harriosn, father of County Commissioner Samuel Harrison, died at his residence four miles south of Marion Centre, last Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, aged 79 years. The deceased was born near Uniontown, Westmorien Co. Pennsylvania, but moved with his parents when a small boy, to Harrison Co. Ohio. In 1854 he moved to Union Co. Ohio where he remained till his removel to his late residence in the Spring of 1873. He leaves six brothers and four sisters living, the youngest of whom is 57 years old. Few families reach as ripe old age.
