RAY ADAMS
Ray Alfred Adams, son of Claude and Vinnie Adams, was born November 20, 1904 in the Spring Creek area near Goldendale. He spent his boyhood and received his schooling in the vicinity of Spring Creek.
Many years of his life were spent and farming and logging.
After a long illness, he died October 1, 1973 at Cascade Villa Convalescent Center at age 68.
He is survived by a son George of Jackson, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Osborn of Portland; a sister, Mrs. James Gallagher of Klickitat; a niece, Mrs. Arthur Bleiler of Salem, and five grandchildren.
Services were held Friday at Knosher Funeral Home with the Rev. David Fisher officiating. Pallbearers were Zelbert Mesecher, Merle and Arthur Winterstein, Gerald Olney, Ernest Martell and Alfred Woods. Interment was in Spring Creek Cemetery.
