Hazel Edith Meeker Eutsler

Services for Hazel Edith Meeker Eutsler, 88, formerly of Lusk, will be held today, April 8, 1992, at 2 p.m. at the Bader-Peet Mortuary Chapel with Rev. Frank Bozart officiating. Burial will be in the Lusk Cemetery.

Eutsler died at Torrington, Wyo., April 5, 1992. She was born near Spearfish, S.D. March 13, 1904, to George Marion and Cora Ann "Anna" (Wilcox) Meeker.

On Dec. 10, 1921, she married John William "Joe" Eutsler. The couple made their home northwest of Manville, Wyo., until her husband died in February 1953. She then moved to Lusk where she worked at the Southside Cafe until she retired in 1971. At that time she moved to Torrington where she resided until her death.

She was a member of The War Mothers.

Survivors include 11 children; five sons, Ted of Woolridge, Mo.; Tom of Torrington; Dick and Jim of Osage and Bob of Simi Valley, Calif.; six daughters, OraBelle Martin of Gentry, Ark.; Bertha Sipes of Lubbock, Texas; Mary Deuel of Riverton; Billie Arnold of Torrington; Betty Truman of Portland, Ore. and Pat Trout of Torrington.

She is also survived by 33 grandchildren, numerous great-and great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son Charlie, a sister Nora Godby and four grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, American Cancer Society or American Heart Association.
