Ezequiel M. Bettencourt, 83, died Thursday July 7, 2005. Born in Graciosa The Azores he was son to the late Anibal and Palmira (Mendez) Bettencourt. Husband to the late Aureolina G. (Avila) Bettencourt who died in 2002. Survived by his sons Luis of Portugal, George, Paul, of Hudson, John of Tennessee, Nuno Bettencourt of California; Roberto Bettencourt of New Bedford; his daughters, Ivone Herincx, Fatima Souza, Helena Bettencourt all of Hudson and Teresa Bettencourt of Florida. Also survived by his brother Humberto Bettencourt of The Azores, his sisters Carmen Soares of Lisbon, Ofelia Bettencourt of The Azores; 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was the owner of Bettencourt Music Store located on Broad Street.
