Maurice Colbert, Jr., 56, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022. Maurice was a lifetime resident of Chattanooga and was proud to be a 30-year member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters UA Local 43. He was so proud to be a union pipefitter and considered his union brothers to be his family. Maurice also loved racing and motorcycles.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Starla Colbert and father, Maurice Colbert, Sr.
Maurice is survived by his wife, Kathy Stone-Colbert; mother, Gloria Dinallo-Oemler and sister, Bridgett Ward (Ray).
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Hwy 58. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Danny Marshall officiating.
Maurice will be laid to rest in Old McDonald Cemetery.
