WHITE COTTAGE - Phyllis A. Rasor, 82, formerly of South Zanesville, passed away at 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for New Lexington.
She was born May 5, 1924, in Zanesville. She lived most of her life in South Zanesville and moved to Fultonham 12 years ago. She was a housewife and caregiver and a member of South Zanesville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Robert (Tonya) Rasor of Fultonham and Tim (Brenda) Rasor of South Zanesville; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two brothers, Donald (Eleanor) Fulkerson and the Rev. Mark (Edna) Fulkerson, both of South Zanesville; two sisters, Mary Lou (the Rev. Robert) Powell of Cambridge and Ina (Sonny) Knupp of Grove City; and a special friend, Dottie Dollings.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mabel Eppley Fulkerson; and her husband, Clarence F. Rasor.
Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15, at the William Thompson & Son Funeral Home, 5765 Gladstone Drive, White Cottage.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 16, 2006, at the funeral home with the Rev. Alice Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
