Jessie and Mary were the parents of nine children. Jessie married 2nd on 1 April 1874 in Terrell Co., Georgia to widow Sarah E. (Keel) Hardin. She was born in 1825 in Georgia and died in 1896 in Dawson, Terrell Co. Georgia. He died on 26 February 1885, in Dawson, Terrell Co., Georgia, at the age of 92, and was buried in Dawson, Terrell Co., Georgia. He served in the War of 1812.
