Age 85 Years.
Della was the devoted wife of Adam whom she married October 21, 1937 in Bay City, MI. Her third marriage. Loving mother of Herbert C. O'Neal, Hobart Lynn O'Neal and Lillian M. "Peggy" (O'Neal)Hanbaum of Illinois. Son-in-law, Harold. Grandson, David. Dear daughter of William Felix Grundy Martin and Louisa Jane(Martnes)Martin. Sister of William H., James W., Sarah J., Nola I., Samuel M., Daisy, Oscar I., Mary and Isaac. Della & Adam lived at Huron Nursing Home in Kawkawlin, MI for a time. Our family visited them as often as we could. My Dad had been their handyman and friend for many years and friends with the Hanbaum's. Della passed away there with her husband at her side, as they shared a room together. Della was buried in a beautiful pink dress and pink casket chosen by her daughter. Peggy always gave her Mom the very best. Peggy said she deserved it. We were the only guests at her funeral, so sad. Mrs. Schwab reminded me of Granny, on the TV show, The Beverly Hillbillies, in the 1960's. She was so sweet, tiny and very feisty.
Cause of Death: Old Age and Heart Failure
*Note: Della was previously married to James O'Neal.
