He was born in Pearisburg, Va., and had lived in Putnam County for 22 years, coming from Narrows, Va. He had worked in construction for the last 15 years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
He is survived by daughters, Connie Hall, Michelle Hall and Mary K. Myers, all of Bostwick; brothers, Richard Myers and Gary Myers, both of Narrows, Va., Virginia and Barry Myers of Palatka; sister, Kathy Fay Myers of Narrows, Va.; four grandchildren.
Graveside service is 11 a.m. Wednesday at Bostwick Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Klemm officiating and American Legion Post 45 making the flag presentation.
