Funeral services were held Sunday, with the Rev Harvey P Knudsen officiating, for Steve Kasnick, 60, of Tucson, Arizona, a former resident of this area, who died Thursday, Jan 6.
Born in Philipsburg, 6 Jan 1911 he was the son of Michael and Susan (Nagy) Kasnick.
He was never married. He was a member of the Columbia Street, Southern Baptist Church, Tucson, and a veteran of World War II.
These brothers and sisters surviive: Mrs Theresa Meszaros, Charlemont, Mass; John, Bridgeport, Conn; Mrs Betty Mason, Hawk Run; Mrs Margaret Johnson, Fairfield, Conn; Mrs Violet Ronson, Rockville, MD.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe, Mike, and Frank.
Funeral arrangements were in charge of the James W Weaver Funeral Home, Morrisdale. Interment was in the Ashcroft Cemetery, Hawk Run.
