Jimmie Eugene Dalton, 85, of Duck Hill died of heart failure, Thursday, April 28, 1998 at Methodist Central Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. Dalton, a native of Montgomery County, was retired from the ASCS office in Winona after serving 40 years. He was a gospel singer and song writer. He was a Deacon of the Alva Baptist Church and a graduate of Alva High School. Mr. Dalton was the son of David Fuller and Mary Mitchell Dalton and was also a World War ll Army Veteran.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, May I, at Lee Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Norris Corley officiating. Burial was in Alva Parker Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Clark, Richard Crick, Allen Fuller, Johnny Rainey, Carroll Hemphill and Dee Crick.
