She was born and raised in Bristol, Conn., and had lived in Northwood for the past 42 years. She was employed by the housekeeping department at the University of New Hampshire for several years before retiring in 1981. She attended the Epsom Baptist Church and belonged to its Missionary Society. She was also a member of the Northwood Plus 55 Club.
She was the widow of Glenn Hoadley, who died in 1970. She leaves three daughters, Gail H. Towle of Chichester, Elaine Solarz of East Lyme, Conn., and Joyce Munroe of Hillsborough, NC; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Leonard Rosenbach of Bristol, Conn.; several neices and nephews.
Visitinghours will be tomorrow from 7 to 9pm at the Perkins Funeral Home, 62 Main St., Pittsfield. Funeral services will be Monday at 1:30pm in the Epsom Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pinegrove Cemetery, Northwood.
