Thelma Kifer provided the following, which was sourced from Mr. Teuton's obituary appearing in the December 1, 1949 edition of the Ocala Star Banner.
"William Elbert TEUTON, was a lifetime resident of Burbank, died yesterday after a short illness. He engaged in farming and cattle-raising until his retirement a short time ago. He was member of the Methodist church of Pine, and of F & A. M. Masonic lodge of Ft. McCoy.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Jessie Teuton; five sons; one step-son; two daughters; and one sister."
