Double Funeral Was Held Sunday Morning
The funeral services over the remains of Ellis A. Tesh and Walter L. Tesh, who were killed Friday afternoon when an auto in which they were riding was struck at the Piedmont Park crossing, were held yesterday morning. It was one of the most largely attended funerals held in the county for many years.
A short service was held at the home followed by the funeral proper at Marvin Chapel Methodist church, conducted by the Rev. J. C. Cornett and Rev. J. F. McCuiston. The interment was in the Ziglar Graveyard.
The floral tributes were unusually beautiful and numerous.
Members of the Fairview Council, Jr. O. U. A. M. acted as pallbearers for Ellis Tesh and employees of the Mengel Box Company for Walter Tesh.
Ellis was survived by his wife, Miss Nettie May Rupard, by his mother, Emma Tesh, two sisters, Grace and Maude.
