Tahlequah – A memorial service in honor of Lieut. George R. Anderson, who fell in action in France some weeks ago, has been held at the M.E. Church, south, of this place. While Lieutenant Anderson's home was at Ardmore, he was an instructor at the Northeastern state normal here at the time he enlisted and went to an officer's training camp. A gold star was placed on the service flag of the Northeastern by W.S. Barnes, superintendent of the Methodist Sunday school.
