CALABASH -- Mrs. Elva Hoots Russell, 86, of Calabash, formerly of West End, died Friday in Brunswick Community Hospital.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Powell Funeral Home & Crematory chapel in Southern Pines. Burial will be in Taylor Memorial Baptist Church cemetery.
Mrs. Russell is survived by a son, Bill Russell of Sunset Beach; a sister, Hazel H. Wiley of Asheboro; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.
