Debra Elizabeth Plemmons, 73, of Mars Hill, NC, passed away January 7, 2024 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.
Debra was born October 15, 1950 in Asheville, NC to the late, Charles Edward Plemmons and Eloise Elizabeth Young.
Debra graduated from UNCA with a Masters degree. She retired as a case manager in mental health. Debra loved gardening, dancing, watching old movies, and spending time with friends.
Surviving Debra are her daughters, Serenity Elizabeth Allen of Mars Hill, NC, Alaina Jennise Smith of Canton, NC; sister, Charlene Young Plemmons of Mars Hill, NC; granddaughters, Julianne Elizabeth Allen of Mars Hill, NC, Abigail Jennise Smith of Canton, NC, Alexis Alyse Allen of Mars Hill, NC; grandson, Lucas Hugh Allen of Mars Hill, NC; great grandson, Arthur Jude Williams of Mars Hill, NC; and the best fur baby, Chloe Jane Plemmons.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 3, 2024, at Mars Hill Baptist Church. Her cremated remains will be interred at Young Family Cemetery.
