Wesley Burgin, "W.B." Freeman, 73, of 1010 Gouges Branch Rd., Leicester, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 22, 2008.
A native of Madison Co., Mr. Freeman was a son of the late Glen C. and Alice Price Freeman.
Mr. Freeman was a retired woodworker, and was also a tobacco farmer. Mr. Freeman was a Baptist minister, and served as a Deacon at Union Baptist Church, where he was a member.
Surviving Mr. Freeman are his wife, Nina Allison Freeman; daughters, Pansy Meadows and husband Tommy, and Deanie Jackson and husband Danny, all of Leicester; sons, Larry Freeman and wife Missy, and Marvin Freeman and wife Tammy, also all of Leicester; brother, Bruce Freeman, of Houston, TX; 10 grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service for Mr. Freeman will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday at Union Baptist Church with the Revs. Bobby Gibson and Michael Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the church's cemetery.
