Nancy Suella Wibel Adams, 85, of Royal, Arkansas departed this life on December 1, 2023. She was born November 30, 1938, in Arcadia, Indiana to Vern and Nannie Wibel.

Nancy grew up around both Noblesville, Indiana and Hot Springs, Arkansas where she graduated high school. She was a life-long Christian and a member of Second Baptist Church of Hot Springs. She was known for being very creative. She was a wonderful decorator and she enjoyed collecting antiques, farming and spending time with her family, cats and her little dog, Quesa. She had a green thumb and always grew beautiful plants and flowers. Nancy loved music and she sang with several church choirs as well as the Sweet Adeline's. She brought joy to everyone around her. Her infectious laugh and funny stories will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vern and Nannie Wibel; sisters, Virginia Gunn, Essie Mae Black and Marion Heathcote; and her son, Stephen Hays.

Survivors: husband, Jon Adams of Royal, AR; sons, Dave Hays (Sherry) and Gary Hays; daughter, Suzanne Hays Massa; daughter-in-law, Susan Hays; father of her children, William David Hays; grandchildren, Jade Harrison (Jeremy), Brandy Foret (Joey), Amber Kochen, Bruce Strickland (Kristi), Amanda Thompson (Justin), Austin Massa, Natalie Massa, Christopher Hays (Jessica); fifteen great-grandchildren; and many wonderful loving nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express our gratitude to her long-time caregiver, Nicole Dawson who she loved along with the outstanding staff and care she received at Elite Hospice and Lakewood Health and Rehab in Hot Springs. She was blessed with many loving caregivers.

A celebration of her life will be scheduled at a later date.

Memorials in her memory may be made to Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
