FIRST TRIPLETS! The Brown triplets (Paul, Paula and Paulette) were the first set of triplets born at Portsmouth, Scioto County, OH Hospital. They were delivered by Dr. PAUL McAfee (after whom they were most likely named)!
NAMES & BIRTHDATE: After adoption, Paul and Paulette's names were changed to Jan Rupp Blanton and Judy Dunning Blanton. Their birth month/day years were reversed from 5/9/46 to 9/5/46. They were raised as adopted "twins."
1964 GRADUATES: Paducah-Tilghman High School, Paducah, McCracken County, KY
Judy Blanton Marshall, of Brevard, passed peacefully on the Lord's Day, Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015.
She lived her life determined to demonstrate God's love and will be remembered most as a committed follower of Christ our Lord and Savior.
She was known to be warm and compassionate to everyone she met. Her youthful spirit gave her a cheerful demeanor that made people feel welcome wherever she was. She was generous and kind and loved sharing her time and home with others.
"You can go to God Most High to hide. You can go to God All-Powerful for protection. I say to the Lord, You are my place of safety, my fortress. My God, I trust in you." Psalm 91:1-2 (ERV)
She is survived by three daughters, Stephanie Marshall, Cindy Thomas, and Fran Etters; one brother, J.R. Blanton; six grandchildren, Shaina Marshall Thomas, Michael Marshall, Lauren Thomas Willis, Ryan Thomas, Austin Etters, Kristen Etters, and three great-grandchildren.
All those whose lives were touched by Judy are welcome to share a time of remembrance at the Deer Lake Club House on Deer Lake Road in Brevard Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, from 2 to 4 p.m.
