PELHAM - James Lee Lipford, 85, of Route 1 died Sunday at Morehead Memorial Hospital in Eden.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Wilkerson Funeral Home in Reidsville. Burial will be in Happy Home United Church of Christ cemetery.
A native of Pittsylvania County, Va., he was a retired farmer.

Lipford of Pelham, Ben Lipford of Eden, Mack Lipford of Greensboro; daughters, Mrs. Doris L. Wilson of Axton, Va., Mrs. Zona L. Hokes of Chatham, Va.; brother, Clifton Lipford of Virginia Beach, Va.; sisters, Mrs. Edna Evans, Mrs. Rosebud Wingfield, both of Reidsville, Mrs. Cora Page of Pelham; 18 grandchildren.
