Rosalie Long Albrecht, RN, a native of Mobile, AL and a longtime resident of New Orleans and Mandeville LA, passed at the age of 92 on Saturday February 18th, 2023. Rosalie was born in Mobile, AL on August 26th,1930, mother, Rosalina Granato of Palermo, Sicily and father, Agostino Long(o) of Termini Imeresi, Sicily. Rosalie graduated from High School in Mobile, became a Registered Nurse at Mobile Infirmary School of Nursing, and spent most of her nursing career at Mercy Hospital in New Orleans; as an RN, charge Nurse, Shift Supervisor and Assistant Administrator of the Hospital retiring in 1991. Rosalie was preceded by her late husband of 53 years, Arnold J Albrecht, Jr. Rosalie is survived by three sons and a daughter: Arnold J. Albrecht III and his wife, Cynthia Combe; Irving A. Albrecht and his wife, Denise Frazer; Darryl Kurt Albrecht; and Teresa Marie Albrecht Baxter and her husband, Michael Baxter. Rosalie is also survived by three grandchildren: Charmagne Suzette Albrecht, Maurice John Albrecht and Shane David Anthony and several great grandchildren. A Mass will be celebrated on March 11, 2023 at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 1260 Elmira St. Mobile, AL at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, 1202 Virginia St., Mobile AL.
