Billy Dee Carter, 76, of Alma, Arkansas passed away peacefully, in the arms of his loving wife, on Monday, October 9, 2023 at a local hospital.
Billy was a Marine Corps Veteran, serving in Vietnam, and later went on to become a salesman. Billy loved spending time with his grandchildren, riding his Harley, and was an avid reader.
Billy was born May 4, 1947 in Winston Salem, North Carolina to the late Billy Dowel and Ruth Carter. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Billy is survived by his wife of 18 years, Sherry Carter of the home; son, Marty Mason of Mulberry, AR; daughters, Elizabeth of Mulberry, AR, Sara of Alma, AR; grandchildren, Aubrey, Logan, Holland, Gwynne, Marinna, Everly, Vivia, Mason, Colin, Rachel, Kylee, Marti, Lucas, Tristan, Weston; great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Sagely; sister, Diana Burge; and brother, Mike Carter.
