Died- at the home of his parents, in Cottage Grove, Samuel H. Brinkhoff, a bright young man of 18 years and ten months of age, on Thursday afternoon after an illness of three months duration. He was having an attack of lagrippe and pneumonia set in. Death was a relief to him as he suffered intense pain. He passed on to meet his four sisters who crossed to the other shore before him. Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Evangelical Church, Rev Gussman officiating. The bereaved family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sorrow. He is survived by his parents, two sisters and four brothers.
