Richard (Dick) Vernon Adams, 82, Larkspur, Colorado, died April 22, 2013.
Dick was born April 30, 1930 in Maryville, MO to Russell and Ada Adams. Dick was a 1948 Maryville High graduate. He was a Spoofhound varsity basketball and football player. Dick graduated from the University of Missouri in 1952 where he was a Missouri Tiger varsity basketball player. Dick coached basketball for a few years before becoming first a salesman, and then executive, with Mennen.
In his retirement years he played golf and traveled.
Preceding him in death were his parents, brothers, a sister and daughter Wendy. Survivors include wife Karen, son Dave and a granddaughter along with many nieces and nephews.
Private services were held in Los Angeles, CA.
