Miriam was a 1929 graduate of Ridley Park High School. She enjoyed volunteering in the snack bar at the Jennersville Regional Hospital. She also enjoyed sewing, knitting, crossword puzzles and reading. She was a member of the Oxford Senior Citizens and the Farm Women of Russellville, PA.
She is survived by six children; James A. Seltzer and wife Georgiann of Wilmington, DE, Donald G. Seltzer and wife Charlotte of Parkesburg, Albert W. Seltzer and Lillian of Atglen, Thomas G. Sigler and wife Cheryl of Wilmington, DE, Dorothy A., wife of Harry Fetter of New Holland, PA and Linda Coates, of Newport News, VA wife of the late James Coates, 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren and one sister Alice M. Boston of Sayer, PA. She was preceded in death by two siblings; Dorothy May Sigler and William Winfield Fountain.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from the Wilde Funeral Home, 434 Main St., Parkesburg, PA followed by interment at the Lawn Croft Cemetery, Linwood, PA. Family and friends are also invited to attend the viewing, which will be held from 10 AM until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of Lancaster County, P.O. Box 4125, Lancaster, PA 17604-4125.
