Angela Davis

Angela Kay Davis was born June 4, 1992, and was raised in El Reno. Her parents were the late Sherry Sue Douglas Davis and Allen Davis.

Angela passed from this earth on Sept. 7, 2023, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Oklahoma City following a lengthy illness.

Angela attended and graduated from El Reno Public Schools. As an adult, she enjoyed assisting in her grandmother's insurance business and served on the board of the Mary K. Ashbrook Foundation for El Reno.

Angela's greatest joy was her daughter, Makiela Elizabeth Pruitt. Angela particularly enjoyed being a homeroom parent at her child's school and was an avid fan at every school program, dance recital, softball practice and softball game in which Makiela participated.

In addition to Makiela, Angela is survived by her siblings, Dustin and Melissa, as well as a host of precious friends, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial services for Angela were held at El Reno Cemetery on Sept. 20, 2023, led by The Rev. Aaron Kotila of Trinity Lutheran Church.
