The Allen County native was a carpenter and a concrete mason. He was a son of the late Estelle Carter Harrison and husband of the late Ruth Ann Sloan Harrison. He was preceded in death by two brothers, David Harrison Jr. and Carl Wayne Harrison; and a sister, Carolyn Doss.
Survivors include a son, Bradley Stinson of Scottsville; two daughters, Carrie Stinson and Brittany Stinson, both of Scottsville; his father, David R. Harrison and his wife, Ida, of Scottsville; four brothers, Bobby Joe Harrison and his wife, Penny, Roy Harrison and his wife, Tressa, Jerry Harrison and his wife, Theresa, and Billy Joe Harrison and his wife, Kerry, all of Scottsville; three sisters, Mary Caldwell and her husband, Charles, of Adolphus, Joyce Sloan and her husband, Lanny, and Wanda Harrison, all of Scottsville; two half brothers, Cordell Yates and Carl Yates, both of Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews and friends
Burial was in Crescent Hill Cemetery.
