COLUMBUS, Kan. - Henry A. Sizemore, 89, Columbus route 4, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday at his home after an illness. Mr. Sizemore was born Jan. 12, 1895, in Cherokee County in the same house he lived in. He was a retired farmer, a member of the United Methodist Church, the American Legion Post and was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Pearl Sizemore; one stepson, Bobby E. Zitzman, Atlanta; two sisters, Mary S. Pruyn, Columbus, and Helen Schreiner, Wichita; and one grandson, Henry Joe Zitzman, of the home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Paul Thomas Funeral Home, Picher, Okla., with the Rev. Wilma Havens officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, northwest of Treece. Military rites will be conducted by the American Legion Post of Columbus. Pallbearers will be Tom Vanatta, Bob Adams, Verne Reese, Charlie Jones, Larry Ketcher and Henry Lee Tyree.
