Patsy Ruth Brookshire
March 12, 1942 - August 4, 2023

Patsy Ruth Brookshire, 81, went to her heavenly home, Friday, August 4, 2023. Patsy was born March 12, 1942, to Hazel Hart Kee and Silas Kee in Caddo, Oklahoma. She moved to Midland, Texas in 1978, where she was a hairstylist for many years. She married Don Brookshire on November 28, 1994 and was blessed with a bonus family that she immediately claimed as her own.

She is survived by her husband, Don Brookshire of Midland, Texas. Daughter, Susie Lindley, of Ingleside, Texas; Daughter, Kim Bryand, of Stanton, Texas; Daughter, Lisa Morgan, and husband, Frank, of Sanger, Texas; Bonus Daughter, Trina Falcon, and husband Charlie Falcon, of Andrews, Texas; and Bonus son, Robert Brookshire, and wife Leeann of Austin, Texas. Together, with her husband, they share 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 1 new Great-Great Granddaughter, and many nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Hazel Kee; Sisters, Bobbie Jo Kee, of Midland; Doris Miller and husband Don, of Midland; Anita Diamond of Midland; and her daughter, Rebecca Lynn Field, "the angel God loaned her."

To know Patsy, was to love her. She always met you with a smile and a kind word. She enjoyed working in her yard and feeding the birds and rabbits that would come visit her in the mornings. She loved big and her greatest joy was getting to spend time with her family, especially her "GG babies."

Visitation will be 6:00pm – 8:00 pm, on Monday, August 7, 2023 at Nalley, Pickle, & Welch Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at Evergreen Cemetery in Stanton, Texas, officiated by grandson, Matthew Ruiz.

The family would like to express their gratitude to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and kindness. A special thanks to Jace Dorner, with the Midland County Sherriff's Office for his kindness and comfort during this difficult time.
