MRS SCOTT MONGOLD DIES
Well Known Mentor Woman Victim of Pneumonia
Mrs. Sallie E. Mongold, wife of Scott Mongold, Mentor, died in Asbury hospital at 12:05 o'clock this afternoon from pneumonia. Mrs. Mongold was born on March 24, 1862 at Lexington, Va., and was 68 years old age. She was a member of the Mentor Methodist Church, and was well known throughout this community. She had lived in Saline County since 1884.
Mrs. Mongold is survived by her husband and six sons and daughters. They are Carl Mongold, Lubbock, Tex.; Mrs. Charles Nieschburg, Salina; Homer Mongold, Salina; Mrs. Roy Hepner, Salina; Clyde Mongold, Salina and Mrs. Homer Emerick, Gary, Ind.; Miss Bell Dodd, Jamestown, O., and Mrs. Ella Fry, Los Angeles, are sisters and William Dodd, Salina, Charles Dodd, Pampa, Tex., Harry Dodd, Pomona, Calif., John Dodd, Jamestown, O., and Lester Dodd, Washington Court House., O., brothers.
The body was taken to the Rush Smith Funeral Home pending funeral arrangements which had not been completed today.
