On Saturday, December 28, 1968 at her residence 5709 Lone Oak Dr., Bethesda, Md. EDNA T. WHITTET, wife of the late Arthur B. Whittet. Mother of Marjorie L. Hogan, David S. Whittet and the late George A. Whittet. She also is survived by seven grandchildren, five greatgrandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Marjorie T. Gover of Silver Spring, Md. and Mrs. T. Epperson of Bethesda, Md., and Wilmington, Del. Friends may call at Joseph Gawjer's Sons, 5130 Wisconsin Ave. at Harris st. nw. (parking on premises), Monday 7 to 9 pm. Services will be held at Providence United Presbyterian Church, 9019 Little River Turnpike, Annandale, Va. Tuesday, December 31 at 11 a.m. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Note: Two different photographers have tried to locate Edna's grave stone. It appears that a grave stone was never installed at her grave site OR perhaps she is not interred in the immediate area of her husband. As of this writing (9-11-2013) these questions remain unanswered.

Gravesite Details

Cedar Hill's records indicate husband, Arthur B. Whittet in Masonic section, plot 601, site 1 and Edna in the same plot at site 2. A grave stone has not been located.
