Professional football player. Charlie Bivins was a running back and kick returner for seven seasons (1960-1966) with the Chicago Bears of the National Football League. Mr. Bivins' final season of 1967 was split between the NFL's Pittsburgh Steelers and the Buffalo Bills of the American Football League. Bivins played football at Luther Judson Price High School and Morris Brown College in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia. He was drafted into pro football by both the Bears and the Bills in 1960. Charlie Bivins was a member of the Chicago Bears' 1963 NFL championship team.
