MRS. GILLETTE DIES IN OKEECHOBEE; RITES WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON
Okeechobee- Mrs. Mammie Lousie Gillette, 66, of this city died in her home Saturday following a long illness.
The deceased has been as resident of this city for the past 37 years, coming here from Mayton, Florida. She was an active member of the Church of God of Okeechobee.
Mrs. Gillette is survived by her husband Raford Guy Gillette, two brothers: John Abrams and P.J. Allen of Sanford, six sisters: Miss Ruth Abrams, Sanford, Mrs. J.T Wheelus, West Palm Beach, Mrs. Eva Harkey, Mrs Ernest Simpson, Mrs. Mable Alexander, and Mrs. Robert Cole, all of Sanford, and a brother in law Zollie T. Gillette of Okeechobee.
Services in charge of Yates Funeral Home of Ft. Pierce, will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 from the Church of God with Rev. Walter Whidden, pastor of the Church of God, officiating.
Internment will be in the Okeechobee Cemetery. (Janis)
