Gene was the son of London Lias Sr and Anna Tarver Lias. He lived in Columbus, Georgia for most of his life. He was employed with Phenix Mechanical Contractors Inc in Phenix City, Alabama for 20 years until his retirement. He was a member of the Cooper Creek Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
He was married to Jeannie Mae Lias. He was preceded in death by 1 sister, Ruby Bualice and 4 brothers, London Lias Jr, David Lias, Hosea Lias and Reese Lias. Surviving relatives is his Wife of over 30 years, Jeannie Mae Lias. A Daughter Tracy Lias (Herman). Sons, Terry Lias(Erica) and Jeannie R. Hall(Stephanie). A sister Earlie B. Bundidge. Brothers Albert Lias(Annie) and McDuffie Lias(Claudia).Sister-in-law, Christine Lias and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Friday, June 16, 2023 at 1PM in the Sanctuary of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Columbus GA with Brother Potiphar Alexander Officiating.
