Eldorous J. Abbottt of Woodford was fatally injured on Sunday last while harnessing one of his horses. The animal started to get out of the stable, upon which Abbott caught it by some part of the harness and the horse kicked him, the full blow striking the right temple with crushing force.
The injured man was removed Monday to the house of his sister, Mrs. I. E. Gibson, in this village, and lived until Tuesday afternoon.
This sudden death falls with peculiar force upon Mrs. Gibson between whom and the deceased there existed, since the death of their parents a few years ago, a very close attachment, even for a brother and sister.
