Loretta L. Lively, 85, of Wooster, formerly of Rittman, died unexpectedly, Tuesday,
May 30, 2023 at Wooster Community Hospital.
She was born December 23, 1937 in Woodsfield, Ohio to the late Merle and Nellie (Shook) Tomlinson and lived most of her life in Rittman and Wooster.
Loretta graduated from Antioch Schools and married Lawrence Lively in 1955 and they raised 5 children together. Lawrence preceded her in death in 1992.
She was employed as a Dispatcher for the Rittman Police Department; worked for Westfield Insurance Companies; and Rubbermaid prior to retirement.
She was a member of the Wadsworth Eagles #2117 and Wooster Moose Lodge. She enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially liked going to the beach, camping, water skiing and playing softball. She volunteered as a youth cheer advisor for the Rittman Pee Wee Football Program.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lawrence; son, Rick Lively; and brother, Norman Tomlinson.
