• WILSON -- Graveside rites for Linda Faye Carriker, 56, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Hewitt Cemetery with the Rev. Jason Langley and the Rev. Hurshel Baker officiating.
Born Dec. 13, 1945, in Graham to John Henry and Bernice Katherine Rozzell Spencer, she died March 29, 2002, in Healdton.
She married Frank T. Carriker on Dec. 22, 1962, in Waurika.
She grew up in Fox, where she attended school. She and her husband made their home in Wilson since their marriage. Mrs. Carriker was first a member of Fox Baptist Church for five years and then was a member of Wilson First Baptist Church for 40 years. She had been WMU Director and taught church training classes, Sunday school classes, vacation Bible school and was involved in the Baptist Women's Group, Children In Action and served as church librarian. She had worked at the Wilson branch of the Chickasaw Public Library.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; five daughters, Johnnye Carriker, Lawton, Kathy Carriker, Chickasha, Karen Smith, Leoti, Kan., Lisa Sediby, San Antonio, and Dawn Carriker, of the home; her mother, Wilson; a brother, Don Allen Spencer, Gainesville, Texas; and 11 grandchildren.
Bearers are Shannon Sanner, Buster Lucas, Vaughn Allred, Buck Marutzky, Dub Haynes and Cecil Bewley.
