Carol Sue Anderson, 84, of Geneseo, IL, passed away on May 13, 2023, at the Summit of Bettendorf. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Geneseo Evangelical Free Church with Pastor Steve Palm officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at Vandemore Funeral Home & Crematory-Geneseo Chapel. Interment will be held at the Rock Island National Cemetery at a later date. Memorials can be made in her name to the American Alzheimer's Association. Condolences can be left at www.vandemorefuneralhome.com

Carol was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois, in her parent's home. She attended the Lawrenceville schools, where she was very active in music. Carol graduated from Lawrenceville High School and then attended Eastern Illinois University. She then worked in the Lawrenceville Hospital laboratory, until she moved to Moline, IL to join her brother, Kermit Wells.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Thelma Wells, and her sister and brother-in-law, Beverly and Charles Orr.
