Born in Summit to Mary T. "Chickie" Tracy and the late Donald A. Tracy, Dennis was a graduate of Chatham Borough High School. He proudly served in the US Coast Guard from 1974 until his honorable discharge in 1980. He worked as a plumber for the majority of his life, and you could always count on him for all things requiring handiwork. He was a member of the Chatham Borough Volunteer Fire Department since 1981 and was a 9/11 volunteer first responder.
Dennis was an avid coin and rock collector and a Wii bowling champion. He enjoyed crabbing and playing the harmonica, was a lover of science fiction and classic rock music, listening on his favorite radio station Q104.3 and a loyal New York Yankees fan.
He was simply one of a kind. Dennis was a loyal friend, a caring son and brother, but most of all, a loving father to his daughters Jenna and Kerianne.
