Mrs. Edsall became a member of the First Baptist Church in 1920. Throughout the years she was a member of the church choir, a Sunday school teacher, past president of the women’s union, a deaconess and a church clerk. In addition, Mrs. Edsall was a longtime member of Haddon Fortnightly, a past president of Questers –- Elizabeth Haddon Division of Haddonfield -– and a member of the Haddonfield Historical Society.
She was a Red Cross volunteer during World War II, was a member of the West Jersey Hospital Auxiliary, Camden, and helped to recruit nurses for West Jersey Hospital.
Surviving are her daughter, Elizabeth E. Clegg of Cherry Hill; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
