Captain Tyler Michael Adams, 32, of Cairo, Illinois passed away at 7:59 a.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023, at his residence.
Tyler was born October 8, 1990, in Carbondale, Illinois, son to Donald Garrett and Amy Sue (Davis) Adams.
He graduated from Bluegrass Academy in Fort Knox, Kentucky. Tyler proudly served as Captain with Cairo Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Amy Sue Adams; maternal grandfather, Donovan Lee Davis, Sr.; paternal grandparents, Ina and Francis Garrett; and uncle Michael William Davis.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Mighty Rivers Worship Center in Cairo, Illinois. Pastor Larry Potts will officiate. Interment will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens in Villa Ridge, Illinois.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour. A fireman walk through will be held at 12:45 p.m.
