MARY CRANE EBARB Passed away in Alameda, CA on April 24, 2002 at the age of 86. Dearly beloved wife of John Ebarb for 33 years. Beloved aunt of Sandi Anderson and her husband Steve of El Cerrito. Close friend of Duane Cotta of Carmel and Debi Palmer of Alameda. Sister of the late Zillah Penny and Opie Crane. Mary was born on March 17, 1916 in Apache, Oklahoma. She was a resident of Alameda for 25 years. Mary worked for Montgomery Ward for 38 years, at her retirement she was a Quality Control Supervisor. Mary loved traveling, animals, reading and completing cross word puzzles. During W.W.II Mary was a WAC, she was stationed in New Guinea and worked as a code breaker. At her request no services will be held. In lieu of flowers, her family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the Alameda Animal Shelter. Interment private.
