Her condition became critical about four months ago and death was not unexpected.
Besides her husband, four children survive: Lamar, 12, Christine, 8, Neva, 6 and Norma, 3. There are also two brothers, J. A. Manning, Harlem and J. E. Manning, St. Augustine, as well as four sisters, Mrs. L. B. Varnes, Harlem, Mrs. S. S. Minton, Florahome, Mrs. H. E. Nobles, St. Augustine, Mrs. H. Green, Penney Farms, surviving.
Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock in Union Grove Cemetery, at Harlem, Rev. J. W. Conway of Penney Farms, officiating. (Times-Herald Obituary dtd 15 May 1931.)
